In brief, we are a multi-generational body of Christ-followers who work together to glorify God and grow closer in our relationship with God. We are a moderate church, seeking to creatively serve God together while holding a wide range of theological views. Our prayer for ourselves and for you is that we would seek first God’s Kingdom, trusting that all other necessary things will be added to us.

We use the phrases Peace for the Soul, Direction for the Journey, and Hope for the Hungry to describe the ways we seek to fulfill our mission. Peace for the Soul describes our approach to Worship, Direction for the Journey describes our practices of Formation, and Hope for the Hungry describes the various Mission endeavors we undertake. A brief explanation of these ideas is below, but you can always contact us for more information or just browse our website.

The New Testament describes a peace that surpasses all human understanding; our souls long for a peace such as this.  We intentionally create a space in our Sunday worship where you can find this peace, peace found only through Jesus Christ.  Our worship is a place of rest on what can be a weary journey.  Here you will find respite in the form of silence, singing, prayer, Scripture reading, meditation, proclamation, and a warm welcome.  We hope that you will join us for our worship service  as we seek to glorify God and embrace the peace that God offers to our fragmented human nature.

Throughout time, Christians have been known as followers of the Way, pilgrims on a journey.  We invite you to journey with us, whether you are not yet a pilgrim yourself, a new believer in Christ, or one who has been walking the path of faith for many years.  We seek the transformational direction of God through our weekly worship service and Bible study times.  We believe that direction for the journey comes most richly through community – granting us a shoulder to lean on, wise words to grow us, encouragement to continue along the path, celebration for victories along the way, and strength when our legs grow weary.  We hope that you will join our multi-generational family as we continue as followers of the Way.

When God first called Abraham and promised blessings, the end result was always supposed to be a blessing of all people.  God has never called a people together simply to bless them; God is always looking to use them to bless others.  This was the way that Jesus lived on earth, as a blessing to those around him, enabling them to bless others.  As a community of believers, we also want to be a blessing to those around us.  We are in relationship with several ministries in the area, we have a yearly church-wide mission experience, and we seek new ways to missionally engage the community around us and the world.  We hope that you will join us as we seek to let the blessing of God flow through us to the world around us.
